InMode is an original radiofrequency-based lifting device developed in Israel. It offers two distinct treatment modes—FX and Forma—each operating on different mechanisms. FX works by first suctioning the skin and then delivering high-voltage electrical current to selectively induce apoptosis of fat cells. The damaged fat cells are naturally eliminated within 2–4 weeks, making this mode particularly effective for improving submental fat (double chin), reducing sagging cheek fat, and achieving deep cheek lifting. Ulthera is a skin-lifting device that utilizes High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and is the original FDA-approved system in this category. With Ulthera’s proprietary DeepSEE™ technology, practitioners can visualize the underlying tissue in real time during treatment, allowing precise delivery of energy at the exact intended depth. Depending on the treatment tip used, ultrasound energy can be selectively delivered to the upper dermis, deep dermis, and even the superficial musculoaponeurotic system (SMAS) layer. Thread lifting is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure in which biodegradable medical-grade threads are inserted into the subcutaneous fat layer. Its effects are achieved through two complementary mechanisms:

1.Immediate mechanical lifting, in which the skin is physically elevated, resulting in an instant improvement in firmness.

2.Collagen stimulation, where enhanced collagen production improves skin texture and brightens skin tone, typically becoming noticeable about one month after treatment.

Through the combined action of these mechanisms, thread lifting effectively enhances skin elasticity, texture, and tone. Depending on the treatment area and individual skin condition, various types of threads—such as cavern threads, mono threads, and cog threads—may be used.
